CNC Router with fast automatic loading and unloading
P230.2 is an automatic machine for performing programmable operations inside PVC frames or similar materials. It is equipped with an automatic loading and unloading system for the pieces and consists of the following parts:
A – 3-axis CNC milling router, with a 1.5 kW spindle at 18,000 rpm driven by inverter
B – Worktable capable of accommodating 2 frames of maximum size
C – 2-axis handling system (X and Z) for loading, positioning, and unloading frames
D – Loading magazine for frames to be processed
E – Unloading magazine for processed frames
F – Control console
A – 3-axis CNC Pantograph. Equipped with a 1.5 kW spindle at 18,000 rpm driven by inverter. The XY axes have a total travel covering an area of 2000 x 1600 mm. It performs internal machining on PVC frames or similar materials using a Ø20 mm cutter, and is capable of full-depth cutting along a path of about 180 mm in a single pass, with a Z depth of 12 mm. The spindle is protected by a chip extraction hood for dust and chip evacuation. A laser sensor checks the height of the bottom of the frame, allowing automatic compensation of the tool’s working depth along the Z-axis. In other words, if the frame profile height differs from the nominal value, the machine automatically corrects it so that the machined area remains within ±0.1 mm of the unmachined bottom.
B – Worktable capable of accommodating 2 frames of maximum size allows unloading or loading one frame while another is being processed.
Frame dimensions can range from 400 x 400 mm to 1600 x 800 mm.
The worktable has two fixed reference supports for two sides of the frame, while the others are automatically adjusted according to the set size. At the four corners of the frame, vacuum pads are present for secure clamping.
Underneath the worktable are chip collection trays ready to be connected to the centralized extraction system.
C – 2-axis handling system (X and Z) for loading, positioning, and unloading frames: it picks up one of the frames to be processed stacked on a pallet using an adjustable vacuum frame and places it on the worktable. Once the work is complete, it picks up the processed frame, places it, and stacks it on the unloading pallet. Loading and unloading operations take place in masked time, in the area not occupied by the spindle. This enables simultaneous loading or unloading of one frame while another is being processed. The machine signals when only a few frames remain (parameter adjustable) on the loading pallet and when the unloading pallet is nearly full. It stops safely when the loading pallet is empty and the unloading pallet is full.

F – Control console – The machine is equipped with a 12” color touchscreen industrial PC, allowing easy setup of work cycles and full control of machine functions.
Using the machine is very simple: via the touchscreen, the operator must enter a program for each piece, specifically indicating:
Frame dimensions
Quantities
Milling position
Unloading magazine position.
Once the programs have been created and saved with the corresponding alphanumeric name, they can be recalled at any time by the user.
